Daily responsibilities included designing email creative, tab updates for our website, SEO pages, and banner advertisements for spaces within affiliate websites. I also worked closely with the social media/PR team to create social media assets for boosted social posts. The programs I worked with are: Adobe Photoshop, AfterEffects, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and the YesMail email builder.

social media + graphic design intern - Iowa state college of engineering | 2017 - 2018

When I began my internship, there was not an organized social media marketing strategy in place. My first order of business was to start pushing out content that would bring more attention to our social media pages, including designing graphics for social media posts.
Iowa FLL Championships - January 2018
We wanted to move away from the paper waste that comes along with printing hundreds of programs for our Championship events. I worked to design large scale posters (40in x 60in) that were displayed throughout buildings in duration of the events- this helped to keep people informed in a convenient manner without all of the wasted paper. It was important to keep the designs simplistic, give them a large scale of text for easy legibility and to incorporate the Iowa State swatches of cardinal and gold. These posters will be displayed at Iowa FLL Championships for years to come.
